Mate I would take it to a very experienced non-dealer LR person...if such an animal exists down your way. You can get that person to do a full inspection and write up the fault list in detail...and then take the vehicle to LR and get them to fix the faults whilst still in warranty.

When the warranty has expired and something goes arse up make sure you press LR and if needs be their head office for a fix with them paying if it is somthing that ought to have been fixed under warranty, or was a design fault - for eg when my D2 ran out of warranty I noticed that it was having trouble with the radio frequency for the alarm system when around AMCAL chemists that used the same freq' for their checkout scanners. I found out from a good non-dealer that it was common and related to LR using a frequency that was prevalent in Australian stores...rang LR who of course denied and I kept at them because it was there both from new and after expiry of warranty so it was irrelevant that warranty had expired....they eventually caved and did -at their cost- the whole job including replacing responder under the hood lining and the 2 keys and transmitters to a lesser frequency and I have never had a problem since (that was nearly 4 years ago).

 Cheers
PS. Coming out of warranty in a modern LR is always a little nerve racking matey, but just get that inspection done by someone other than a dealer who knows his stuff.
