			noise from compressor

I noticed a couple of days a go that the air suspension compressor has become a little noisy (Now sound more like a tyre air compressor whereas it was pretty silent before )- ive not noticed any problems with raising or lowering the suspension though....apart from the increased noise. This seems to have co-incided with having the geometry done and all 4 tyres replaced with GG At2 at the local land Rover dealer. )- ive not noticed any problems with raising or lowering the suspension though....apart from the increased noise. Any Ideas on what may have caused this?

Been off road? Mine's got noisy a few times when mud has accumulated inside the cover panel.

As white D3 says; maybe the mud has dried or the bracket is broken, take the cover off and have a look. If it was an independent tyre place it could be them but I can't see the dealer doing it.

			Compressor noise

					Thanks guys,

I have the car booked in for its service with Ayers who are going to take a look at it.

In the 6 months ive had it, its been off road for 1 weekend back in May. I want to get it sorted as im going camping/ off road again in October.

I agree, i doubt that the dealer (alto) changing the tyres and doing the geometry would have damaged it....it was just a coincidence that I noticed the noise 2 days afterwards.

Lets hope its no more serious that a mud /cr@p build up.

 Cheers
