Extra storage space for "S" 5 seater

I have made some extra storage space that will keep valuables from view and put my toys away while on trips

There are 3 positions under the rear seats that will fit a custom made box, and painted gloss black to match the surrounding metalwork makes them difficult to see by an opportunist

One of the boxes, the inside is not painted as I will line in with foam rubber

The three boxes, pic is sideways unfortunately

And a view under the seat

I have never had anyone in the back, however the base of the seats is a steel plate so hopefullyit wont collaps when used

    Richard,
There is also wasted space under the front section of the rear cargo area.
The section that folds/lifts up for storage for your tools/jack etc the board behind it just lifts up & from memory is held in place by 4 plastic niblets. Just pull the board straight up & you will see, maybe able to make another box to store things in for this area..

The only downside i can see is if you fill the cargo area then it makes it hard to get to...But what i was thinking was to put a water bladder in this space...Well its just a thought..

    Cheers.

I have an aluminium frame holding my inverter and HF radio behind the rear seats and have fitted the board around it, I will take a pic when I get the car back
