300+ and Chops - those were very interesting comments. Thank you for taking the time to make them.

LOL Slug Burner. The government didn't lose the satellite, they sold it to some drug cartel for a couple of kidneys and a truck load of coke (and I'm not talking Cola) . Never mind, in our next life perhaps (unless I come back as a Porsche girl) .

Shonky and WD3, a little voice inside my head is telling me that maybe, just maybe, Pedro was being sarcastic. So I don't think the girls should take offence. I almost got swayed by some Betty Boop covers in Big W today. Now that's class! Stick a couple of frangipani's on the back window, some dolphin wind chimes inside and we're ready to roll! All good feng sui I'm sure.

Oh, and Milton, at least it wasn't "unbridled displays of affection" .

Yep,,, lost most of my power ,,,however, the fuel economy "may" have been alright,,, but when your passed by a B-Double, ,,I dont care how good economy may be,,, I didn't get a V8 to get passed by trucks at their whim,,,

I'll confirm exactly my economy when I do the same run this coming weekend,,,,, It will be done on Caltex 95,,,

Have you ever tried Caltex vortex 98? I use it sometimes as it is the other locally available 98. Don't think I've tried the 95.

Hi chops, I only use BP or Shell ( or Mobil if I can’t get the other two ) and have never had a problem.

It sounds like you may have got a load of contaminated fuel.

This is my personal preference but I wouldn’t put Caltex ( Woolies ) fuel in my lawnmower let alone any of my vehicles.

Just out of interest, what is wrong with Caltex fuel......and does this apply both to petrol and diesel?
(No, I'm not involved in the industry at all, just a query)

    Cheers
    Mick
