LOL Slug Burner. The government didn't lose the satellite, they sold it to some drug cartel for a couple of kidneys and a truck load of coke (and I'm not talking Cola) . Never mind, in our next life perhaps (unless I come back as a Porsche girl) .

Shonky and WD3, a little voice inside my head is telling me that maybe, just maybe, Pedro was being sarcastic. So I don't think the girls should take offence. Yep,,, lost most of my power ,,,however, the fuel economy "may" have been alright,,, but when your passed by a B-Double, ,,I dont care how good economy may be,,, I didn't get a V8 to get passed by trucks at their whim,,,

I'll confirm exactly my economy when I do the same run this coming weekend,,,,, It will be done on Caltex 95,,,

Have you ever tried Caltex vortex 98? I use it sometimes as it is the other locally available 98. Don't think I've tried the 95.

Hi chops, I only use BP or Shell ( or Mobil if I can’t get the other two ) and have never had a problem.

It sounds like you may have got a load of contaminated fuel.

This is my personal preference but I wouldn’t put Caltex ( Woolies ) fuel in my lawnmower let alone any of my vehicles.
