Thread: D4 Rear Entertainment System problem

Hi,

I recently picked up my HSE 3.0 Discovery 4 and whilst it is a magnificent car, I have a problem with the DVD Rear Entertainment System (bummer as it wasn't resolved prior to leaving for holidays). I've checked with the dealer and apparently it is a known issue (a technical fault was issued); where any DVD with a start menu (i.e. Press play to start) will not move past this screen either via the head unit or remote? The technical advice from landrover was the unit needs a head unit clean, which I've done three or four times already..anyone had this issue or can offer any advice......i may need to wait before I get home to have the dealer resolve it!!
