Yeah they remove the body and fit an Isuzu. NOT.

That was once mentioned by someone and the story made its rounds.
My mate had his turbo swapped over by Local dealer here and they undid body as in pictures above and cleaned whole drive train at same time.

That was an option though and did cost him extra because he is very fussy and did want the clean.

His turbo was faulty from factory was reason and no more was said.
His wife always said it sounded funny, we told her she was a woman and what did she know.
    Well, she was right.

Tell me that is the dampers running INSIDE the rear air spring...
that is so cool and compact... a little OTT maybe and not overly "bush bodge-able" but it is a D3 so that makes it very cool. Makes geometry clean.

    I want a pair on a trailer!!!

    Hi,
I recon if you can find a clean 05 or 06 V8 SE you will be doing fine.
I have a 2005 one and its fantastic. I just came back from a camping trip, sand driving and covered 1400km and got an trip average of 16.5lt /100kms.
This was with a car full of family and gear and towing an off road camper too.

Yes, as (Garycol?) says, the factory-fitted LR springs are not suited for off-road. I quickly fitted the Kings Springs with amazing results.

I believe that Pedders also market a set now.

    Best Wishes,
    Peter
