I have been in contact with Continental in Melbourne, who then contacted a S.E.Asian manager in Malaysia. I was told that Continental will not be producing 19" Conti Cross Contact AT's except under licence with General in the USA.Maybe these will EVENTUALLY get to Aust. No breath holding!
Looks like the only option on 19"s in AT version is the Pirelli Scorpion ATR

    hi White D3

I arranged for them to be fitted when i purchased the car, they are a fantastic A/T tyre by looking at them, a little bit noiser than the Yoko Geolanders i had on my last 4x4 but that doesn't bother me.

Tried them out in the Blue mountains yesterday, no issues at all.

    Cheers

White D4 your car looks great in that photo. But there doesn't seem to be even a splash of dirt on it, you didn't just photo shop it did you

But I want a white one now! White is the new silver!

What a dream to drive, the power from the 2.7 is great

    But i'm loving it.

Details, Alaska White, Almond interior, 7 leather seats, GPS, Tint, Hi-Ice pack & Continental CrosContact A/T tyres.
    Hi mate,
I picked up my Disco 4 SE 3.0 V6 just before Christmas and towded my 2.2 ton boat up the hume to Albury.
With the cruise set at 110Kph, the disco held 6th overdrive on every hill. Did not change down gear once. To top it off I averaged 13.1Lt per 100Klms for the round trip.

    Very happy

    impressive numbers.

"held 6th overdrive on every hill", if manually **** to the 5th, better fuel number too?

Gee, you mean there are hills on the Hume south of Albury somewhere before Tasmania ??

Ok, best consumption figures I have had is Melbourne to Sydney on the Hume Hwy (Northbound), average Over 110 kph, cruise control 99% of the way, MANUALLY selected 6th gear (only ocasional drop and then just a push back up)....

over 13 Km per Litre (yes, I still go backwards when calculating this stuff). I have done it several times in the D3, heavy/light loads, no real difference... and better yet, its been a pleasure to drive it in the D3.
