One thing I have done, is to use an old soft toothbrush, and dip it into ArmourAll.
It should get rid of the wax, and leave your rubber bits nice & shiny too...

Has anyone got a simple way of removing the white wax residue from plastic and rubber trims??
Waxed the car the other weekend and thought I had been extra careful not to get any wax on the trims but obviously not careful enough!!
Cheers,
bob

brown paper and an iron, not to hot but
Similar to Basil but I use a paint brush - it's a bit softer than a toothbrush.
(A nice clean one, not the one with dried up paint). I dont think you'll need for heat for car wax. If you do, perhaps a hairdryer.
(OMG, I hope dobbo doesn't see this thread!!)

Try Autoglym bumper care, it worked a treat for me.
Get a Defender and don't use wax - like a real man !
