Thread: New Starter Motor on D3

The starter motor on my D3 TDV6 died!!
It has been working fine and then when I tried to start the car one afternoon, it would not work. I called up the LR 24hr service number and they sent out the RACV. The guy checked everything and said it was the starter, so it went on the back of a tray truck back to the dealer who replaced it the next day under warranty. They said its the first one they have ever had to do.!?

Anyway, I'm glad it happened in town and not out in the bush.
