A new name, and welcome to a new set of members
Indeed. After due consideration the mod team have decided that this forum is the place for the:I guess the D3/D4 section is closest area to ask about the RRS.
Range Rover Sport
as it has more in common with the Discovery 3/4 than the other Range Rovers.
Owners are welcome to post here and ask about 24" rims, the maximum legal tint, which shade of black is most hip, whether it's cooler to cruise slowly in Access Mode or Offroad Mode and how many inches of chest hair should be exposed. *
Here's a photo of a Supercharged model to celebrate.
* actually, I'm just jealous, the RRS is my all-time favourite vehicle.
FOX 2008 RRS - Artemis 1989 Perentie FFR - Phoenix S2a 88" with more - Beetlejuice 1956 S1 86" - GCLRO #001 - REMLR #176
EVL '96 Defender 110 - Emerald '63 2a Ambulance 112-221 - Christine '93 Rangy - Van '98 Rangy - Rachael '76 S3 GS - Special '70 S2a GS - Miss B '86 Rangy - RAAF Tactical 200184 & 200168
After that speel, is there anyone prepared to admit they've got one?
RMP,
I have a mate who owns a Supercharged RRS, very nice, however you could add into what owner might like to discuss "what color fuel tanker they prefer to pull" as with anything more than fairy taps on the loud pedal when driving in city traffic (which is obviously a stupid idea when you have a dirty big supercharged V8 under the hood) it sucks fuel like... (trying to think of something that sucks a lot of fuel) well you get the picture.
I certainly looked at one when I purchased my D3 but lack of luggage space together with reasonable price premium mean I could not see the value.
Still think they look great !!
Regards,
George

Re fuel.....oh yes it does it ever slurp the juice. And premium, at that. Of course, one could drive slowly but why buy the car in that case? Sorry, forgot...the badge on the back ;-)
