    range rover sport

    hi,

Thought it was time I said Gidday,

We have recently brought a Range Rover Sport, wow what a car.....

As I do some massive miles with work I thought it was about time we got

something that would be a little safer/faster/more comfortable.

We chose correctly, this car will kill 1200 klm's with ease, in fact sometimes

I still want to keep driving.

We have had a couple of issues, nothing dramatic and our dealer has been

excellent. Our first problem was " normal height only avail " flashing on the

dash, turned out to be a compressor. ( wife told me id break that because

every set of lights I like to drop it to access height......looks cool lol )

Second problem was a blown left rear tyre ( at 144kmph ) I believe it was

the dsc that kept me out of the table drain, but after a change of undies and

throwing the spare on we were on our way.

Our dealer set us up with tyre and rim insurance when we brought it so it

didn't cost us anything which is just as well because the contentinal 275's are

around the eight hundred dollar mark.

Anyways better run but looking foward to chatting

    Cheers

    Kris

    G'day Kris,
Congrats on going for the RRS.. Is your's supercharged? Saw one just like yours with body kit in Bunnings car park yesterday! I have a TDV8 and love it.. Not a good idea to unnecessarily use the air suspension. The compressor will fail quicker. The one on my D3 had to be replaced after 5 years..

PS: Like the look of you Cortina!

    Hey discojool's

Ours is a TDV6, When I seen it in the dealership I just had to have it, it wasn't untill after I gave them a deposit I asked what engine it had in it, when the sales man said it was a diesel I was a little shocked but then I thought Im sure it will be ok.
After driving it I was converted, I still cant believe the performance or fuel economy,I love it so much that we are actually in the process of trading my wifes Territory in on a TDV6, D4. ( the loan car our dealership gave us when the compressor died )
The bodykit is the same as the autobiography which will be in australia in a few months. Our sales man told me there are 12 RR Sports with this kit in oz currently
And the cortina, what can I say I love English cars lol

    Hi Bling ,
I'm glad that you like your RRS, but posting a location as "Australia" is hardly helpful in an Oz forum.

    Best Wishes,
    Peter

Blimp your sport looks great with the autobiography kit. I have just traded my TDV8 2007 in on a new 2010 TDV8 luxury which I am loving. the old one has been great but the new interior is a hugh improvement.

    Hi Stig,

Im inclined not to mess around with this one as I would not want to damage warranty in any way.

Is there a system you buy or do you just fabricate one?
