    20" RRS Tyre Options

If you need to re-shoe a RRS with 20" wheels, what are the options?

I think they run 275/40R20's. Is there anything remotely A/T style?

Excellent, thanks. A 275/45R20 which is close enough: http://www.coopertires.co.nz/index.p...yres&tyre_id=9

Are the RRS 20" the same width as the D4 20"? The D4's have 255/50R20 in the brochures with AT next to it.
Tire rack shows nothing useful in those sizes.

Yes, General Grabber AT comes in that size. Here's a link to the tyre on the Euro site for General Tyre:

Not sure if they are available here. You could call General Tyre in Melbourne to find out.

I'm sure there are other manufacturers too.
    Cheers,

The General Grabber A/T in 275/40 R20 is only available in the UK. They cost around 200quid each, less freight. I had some shipped over, unfortunately they sent the UHP's, not the A/T's so they were returned. AJS tires in UK, a site sponsor on RRSport.co.uk forum, sells them but couldn't ship them. I see there was a post a few days ago on this iste giving detials of good shipping agency in the UK, so that is one option. The other is the Cooper Zeon LTZ which comes in 275 /45 R20. It is 25mm bigger in diameter than the 275/40, but appears to fit with no issue. Spare also. Problem for me is that living in Qld anything over 15mm larger in diameter is illegal. However, at recent Brisbane 4x4 show, speaking to head of Cooper tires he indicated that they are anticpating in June the issuing of new regs that will allow this fitment (QLd) This is really the only two choices in tire remotely A/T for 20" rim. The Coopers I have seen at St George Tyres online at 1300 for 4, ARB quoted 460, Tyrepower 370.
