2007 RRS td6 , 128000 ks no hard driving or towing , decided to bite the bullet and do the trans oil change and fit a metal pan after bieng scard to death by stories on the net of oil not lasting more than 50k , got the pan kit & oil from ZF perth was only going to do a 1/2 flush and got everthing ready ,on getting underneath and looking at what was there i decided that my ambition was bigger than my ability . So what to do , rang Cameran at Transmitions R Us at Balcatta and told him of my sad tail .
Long story short ,Cameran had it done in 2 hrs and he did a full flush supplying a further 5 lts of fluid and job done

Oil was in good nick ,still nice yellow and no burnt smell , plastic pan and filter reasonably clean with a bit of sludge on the magnets which suprised me having seen some of the results on here of black looking fluid .

Anyway done now wether it needed it or not ,maybe the sealed for life has some element of truth in it ??? so will forget about the trany for now .
