It is not about being handy, or lazy. Problem with electric seats is that they have infinite positions. Add in height, tilt, rake, reach. So you get it right, then next driver moves seat to ??? Get back, spend ages mucking around to get it back to where you had it. Then typically when driving spending more time adjusting. With mechanical seats it is easy. The number of positions are dictated by tracks etc and by rake adjuster. Normally if only two drive the car, you learn fairly quickly what is required. But once someone completely different drives it (like after a service) you are back to square one.

Thanks Meccles,
you are correct and I am not lazy but am pretty handy being an "A" grade mechanic.

Both my wife and I each use the car daily she is 5'1" & i'm 5'10" so the seats MUST be moved every time either of us get to move it or drive it somewhere, so thanks for your interest but in future if you cant help someone just keep your ignorant comments to yourself, this forum doesnt need your kind of crap.
