    RRS HP Fuel pump belt

Just wondering if anyone has yet changed their fuel pump belt themselves or had it changed by dealer on their RRS ? , i will probably need to do mine end of next year and am chasing up info to get my brain working on the change out . There is a rough guide of changing it out in situ on the disco 3 uk site but not sure if the rrs is the same as the disco 3 exactly , front timing belt looks easy enough but the rear one looks a bit dificult but i should imagine not a body off or engine out fix , i hope !! .

I've had the one on my D3 done by a LR specialist. Not a cheap job but that way he's supplying the triple articulated forearm, not me. Was not a body off job but that particular service was an overnight stay in the workshop.

A very tricky job, you need thin articulated hands and forearms, and get used to seeing a 'bit of blud'.

Takes as long if not longer to do than the front cambelt, purely due to accessibility. The HP pump belt isn't even timed, it is just a torch and dental mirror kind of job.....

I made myself a cardboard support to lie across the top of the engine for long periods of time, had to take a few breaks too as I was getting frustrated dropping the tensioner and bolt just when it was about to line up with its little tag....

The 3rd and 4th ones I have done are getting a little easier, or maybe it is my imagination.

Anyway, have a go, but don't say I didn't warn you
