    RRS TDV6 SD6

May be a stupid question, but I am struggling to see the difference in the rrs tdv6 and the sdv6? Lr website now only lists the sdv6, and rrs for sale list both 3.0l engines and prices vary all over the place with some low KTM cars the same price as high KTM cars across both badges, eg one badge is not cheaper than the other.

Basically I am confused, as it's not as clear as the D4.

    Thanks
    Jonathan

Power output from the engine is the main (and probably only) difference. IIRC - The SDV6 is approx 25ps more than the TDV6. More than that, I don't know as I don't do 'Sales type stuff'!

Still does not make sense, as some tdv6 are more expensive than the sdv6 and vice versa.

Has the tdv6 been phased out, and it's just the sdv6?

On car sales you have 2010 Sdv6 with 70,000ks at $90k then a new 2012 at $98k, the pricing is very weird compared to the d4

Neither the MY10 3.0 RRS not the 3.0 D4 were badged SDV6. SDV6 was introduced later, 2011 perhaps.

Yes, SDV6 was introduced a little later... IIRC - 2011

The reason for the difference in pricing could well be down to the spec of vehicles.

SDV6/TDV6 denote the tune level of the 3.0 ltr (2011 on). As camel_landy pointed out, there are 100's of other combinations of trim, options and accessory packs that will make a difference to the price. Especially in an RRS.

    Cheers,

    Gordon
