Or have a commercial licence like the LROCV.
Westy.
You would need to acquire a remote head unit something like an ICOM IC-F5063.
Although a set with the controls in the mic would be preferable. It may be easier to use a 5W hand held, with external antenna, speaker and power supply. I use a Kenwood handeld, but not for LROCV.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
Thanks Diana,
Hi Guys, yes I am a member of LROCV, we have our own VHF freq and I do have a remote head radio, but i cant seem to find a way to get the cables from the head to the unit without being seen and where can I fit the head unit.
Having the remote head just stuck on top of the dash board looks very shabby and swmbo says "Bloody Ugly" so cant go anywhere on top of dash
Cheers
