My RRS does this too!! $65 for high quality H7's and within 6 months they're both gone!
I have an Audi A4 that does as much night driving as the RRS, has H7's, and I have only had to replace one since I bought the car.
The LH headlight H7 halogen seems to fail too regularly. I need to replace it at least twice a year after the filament breaks. Doesnt look burnt out Tried a variety of brands and the connector is in good shape.
Is there a common problem causing this? No... I dont put my grubby fingers on the quartz bulb

How secure is the headlight assembly? If it can shake then bumps will very quickly destroy the filament.

Its the left low beam, never replaced a high beam.
The globe mount is secure. My other vehicles (Defenders) dont have this problem and are harder riding and we do live on a corried gravel road. Except for a week or so after the grader comes through ha ha
My wife likes the lights on for daytime driving but you would presume this would affect the RH as well
If its the same globe its got to be electrical!
Check the earth points, the connector pins, etc.
In over 35 years of using halogen globes I recon I've replaced only 3 or 4 due to failure, plenty chasing upgrades.
