I have been searching around for a bar to fit to my 2010 RR Sport and so far Opposite Lock still seem to be the only ones who will. Will report on progress.

Alloy would be good from a weight perspective.

There isnt a huge difference in weight between a steel and alloy bar.
To get the strength the steel one has,the alloy bars are made of fairly heavy thickness material.

My insurance company has advised all I have to do is tell them the bull bar is fitted as an accessory and I am covered. I specifically queried if ADR compliance was an issue - apparently not. I have it all in writing. Now to organise fitting.

Hey Blue, Just wondering has there been any progress on your Bar for the Sport??? I too am keen to get a Winch Bar on my MY2013 Sport but haven't been confident given all the discussion about ADR Compliance required. Would be keen to hear from others that may have done this.

How has everyone gone with this? Wondering if any components had to be relocated or shifted (washer bottle?) Keen to fit a bar to my 07 RRS TDV6

Wet put a D4 bar on a 2005 rrs earlier this year, it didn't fit perfectly but it's not too bad.

I don't think we needed to shift anything, but the grill needed to be cut, and from memory, the antenna mounts needed to be trimmed so the bonnet could be opened.

You also have to make your own fillers for under the headlights.

Was that an OL bar or ARB? I prefer the look of the ARB bar compared to the OL one. I'm not too fussed if there is a gap left over or trimming parts like the grill just so long as I don't need to relocate any components.

I wanna say opposite lock, but I'll have to check, it really didn't look too bad either IMO
