Range rover sport 07 tdv6 won't start

Yeah firmer brake pressure sometimes seems to do the trick with ours when it doesn't fire first time.
The car gave my wife some random starting grief before we changed the battery, then tightened the terminals properly...
Since fitting a Traxide DBS and optima second battery it's been firing a treat.
