My first check would be for a failing/seizing serpentine belt tensioner or idler pulley, with the squealing indicating that immediate action is required.
Hi All,
I have a TDV8. 2008. Couple of days ago it start chirping/rattle/squeal type noise form the front Drivers side. (O/S/F).
Appreciate advise.
Thank you
Chilly

It happens when I go over bumps or uneven surfaces.
Ah, so not from the engine - probably not so urgent. Could be worn roll bar bushes but have you checked the wheel nuts?

Could be wheel bearings, could be lower control arm bushes.
I've never known a failing bearing to not howl louder and louder as they deteriorate and always sound worse when on the outside when cornering. However the chirping/squealing suggests a rotating part or at least metal on metal.
