RRS Dynamic Anti Roll Bar Replacement

    Hi,

I have a Front Anti Roll Bar to replace on my TDV8 3.6. With the Hydraulic ARB, (anti roll Bar).

Has anyone done one of these? Easy, hard?

What about removing the Hydraulic pipes...soecial tool?

    Bleeding Hydraulics?

    Thanks,

    Chilly

How'd you go with this, Chilly? Was it the actual bar that needed replacing or just the bushes?

I think I'll be getting bushes done soon - apparently that alone is a 3hr job...

The bar was leaking. I replaced the whole bar. Not a bad job to do. I looked on a UK RRsport site for information on how to do this.

    Hi Chilly,
Interesting, i'm underneath mine right now and the outside of the roll bar is moist, doesn't actually have a drip yet. Could you give me an idea how much? Also the info you got would be good.
    Cheers Marty

And was there any difference in handling afterwards? I swear I can't tell the difference between the normal and dynamic modes...

    Hi,

Purchased mine from LR Spares in UK. Good price and quick delivery.

Only had the car weeks when replaced. so cannot really comment on differences.

    This form the RRsport site....

    Undo ARB links
    RH clamp needs removed fully
LH clamp needs the front 2 bolts out, and the crossmember removed
    Undo pipes

And it will come out at that. However...
If you remove the LH lower wishbone from the chassis, it makes things so much easier

Allow a full day to replace

There is a diagnostic procedure to bleed the system, but I have heard of some just fitting the bar, top up the system, and throw it around a little to get the system working, then opening the bleed nipples to bleed Thumbs Up
