    Changing fuel filter RRS TDV8

    Hi all has any one changed out there fuel filter on a TDV8 ? I can't even find the bloody thing. Oil and filter is an easy task but bugged if I can find any info on the FF.

    My 4.4 TDV8 has the fuel filter on top of the left mudguard in the engine bay and from the parts catalogue it looks as though the 3.6 has its filter there too.

    Edit: If you have a RRS rather than the FF then its probably on top of the RH end of the chassis cross-member that's at the rear of the gearbox - below the front seats.

    Im fairly sure the FFRR and RRS tdv8 are similar. It should be on the passenger side, and is quite high up just behind the air filter

    The parts catalogue shows that the L320 RRS fuel filter is located as I previously described and in the same position as D3/D4 fuel filters except very early D3 where is is located under the rear LHS of the engine.

    Thanks guys I'll have another look in the morning. Not sure why they would be placed in such a difficult location.

    The plastic gearbox under-tray has to be removed then a light-weight aluminium guard retained by 3 bolts removed to see it.
