G'day JC, my youngest son Cameron leased a 2007 supercharged V8 auto for about 5years. Fuel consumption wasn't bad for such a heavy vehicle. I could get it to sit on 12 -13 L/100k unladen while junior would always be on 16 or so but he drives like Stirling Moss
Biggest problem he had with it was wheel alignment and ball joints. there was hardly anyone who could set it up correctly. Even the LR dealer in Townsville stuffed it up regularly and it used to scrub the tyres out quickly when it was out . A lovely vehicle to drive I must admit.
    Cheers......Brian

I think it was pegged at buyers who didn't care too much about fuel consumption.

There are now a heap of 2.7s under $30k, many with moderate km and none with ridiculous km like my L322. This 3.6 looks nice (not mine) other than maybe the wheels.
