    Replacement Key - Sydney

Anyone know of a cheaper option for an extra key?

Other than going to the 'stealers' for it?

    Thanks - John

I have found them on fleabay quite often. Brought from UK, $80. Then took key to dealer who recoded it free of charge. Just make sure you get right key there are some model changes with different key. I think Evoque and Disco keys are very similar too.

Can the Nanocom be used to code the older style keys? I wasn't going to suggest it without knowing (not that buying a Nanocom is cheaper than a key from the dealer but a good excuse to buy one!)

I got a key done for my new ( to me ! ) proximity key RangeRover by a fella in Melbourne - admittedly he had to wait for a new machine to come from Europe .

    But it works !
    Genuine LandRover key $360....

But LR wanted a few thousand dollars to recode as my " box was broken " so you have to buy a complete set of keys , becm etc .

I was happy to try this first !

Can share his details if needed took approx 30 mins to code .

A nanocom can be used to code keys for D3/D4 or RRS (standard or key less type), providing the nanocom has been used with that VIN before.

For reference, the Gap iiD Tool can also program keys for D3/D4/RRS and add new keys.
