Good but that's when they are not on 22" wheels. I don't even like the 20" wheels on my L322.

Hi , Just joined this forum. I have a 2006 RRS that I brought a couple of years ago .It came with 22" wheels that looked genuine Stormers and 35 aspect tyres. Found out later that LR never had 22" wheels for this model and they were aftermarket.
    Had 2 problems with them.
    1. The centre hole was not in the centre ,therefore it was impossible to balance them except on a balancer with provision for wheel studs.
    2. The wheels cracked on the inside rims. Most likely going over speed humps in suburban streets with the low profile tyres and non genuine rims not up to it.

I would be very careful before considering 22" rims. I have actually gone back to a set of late model genuine 20" rims and tyres with a bit of meat on them.
P.S. The rolling radius is even greater than the 22" wheels and tyres.

Further to my last post . I am just getting the hang of how to upload etc.

So I have attached some photos of the damaged 22" wheels and the 20" ones I am now running.

I have 4 very good 22" tyres and 2x 22"rims if anyone interested PM me.

Hmmm, Thats what concerns me with the 22" rims , not enough tyre to absorb impacts and the roads are a bit 'rough' - not even considering off road .

Q - tell us about the falcon ? I think its an early girl .... chrome bumpers , twin exhausts .

Good picking that up . But no not a Falcon, its a LHD 1965 Pontiac Le Mans Same body as a GTO but the luxury Model -Retracting seat belts and factory Air- Con. Funny though the Front looks very similar to a ZD Fairlane with the twin upright headlights.

    Hi guys
Great post here, I just bought a RRS MY09 with 22’s on it, drive it back from Melbourne to Sydney...such a awesome drive compared to my old Jeep
Was thinking of getting a set of 18’s or 19’s for a few camping trips (soft off-roading) and also for the snow mid year, or do you think the 22’s would be ok?

    Here is a pic

The 19” tyres feel more squishy .
Not in a bad way , just less crash and stiff , i have a set of the 22” but have put 19” on with a 55 profile Tyre , much better for off road and I feel they have better longevity on the country roads I drive on .

The rims I s do look nice on your RRS tho !
