I bought this product about 1 year ago. I've been very happy with it. Some have experienced slow delivery and communication. I didn't.

I ordered this product last week and have had no communication at all. I guess I'll have to consider myself a "some" after reading your post. Are you still happy with the fix? Thanks

Yes very happy. The seller has a reputation on here with not communicating. Mine took 2-3 weeks to arrive from memory.

I don't really understand how this happens, but here are pics of the throttle bodies on my L322 tdv8 and on another member's L322 on here. Mine has not been cleaned as far as I know for about 40,000km. Although I have used induction cleaner in the last 15,000 & 25,000 km ago, and took the MAPs out for a clean not long ago.

EGR Valve Replacement on 2010 TDV8

I'd be interested to hear from other tdv8 3.6 owners what is normal for a throttle body on these cars, ie without induction cleaning and EGR disabled. I noticed during the previous owners time the detailed service history always included an item like "clean throttle body".

    EGR modifications

Has anyone who has done any sort of modification to the EGR got confirmation from their insurance company that this modification is OK and does not effect insurance? Thinking of doing mine 2010 RRS TDV8 3.6 but do not trust insurance companies to regard this mod as rendering the vehicle un-insurable.

The emulators arrived today at the mechanics after about 3 weeks. He'll be fitting them on Tuesday. Funny how they were in a box, no instructions, no invoice, no kiss your ass.
As Confusius say, "May you live in interesting times."
Thanks again for your help guys, much appreciated.

There's a pretty good instruction vid on YouTube. Seriously, it's simply unplug the EGR and plug in the black box. Next, apply some zip ties so the cable doesn't move around too much. Finally, find somewhere tidy for the black box to live.

And let us know how you find it. I'm one of a few lonely voices who was very satisfied with this product.
