Thread: RRS Production Cost

We now have an engineer working for us that used to work for Landrover in Solihull.

She was saying how great the car was but then told us how much they are to make.

Apparently a well sorted RRS cost Landrover about $40k Australian to make.

Heads up display cost them about $20.00 for the part.

Now know why we haven't seen any new Defenders in spy pics, apparently the security is very very tight.

Fingerprint scanning for entry as well as security.

Phones must be handed in etc etc.
