The D2 ACE pipe from the pump has a resonator fitted in the end of the hydraulic hose to smooth out pump pulses.
So, it's a fitting Teed into the pipe as one would do for a water hammer chamber & somewhere for the pulses to expand into.
Also, the same as a muffler in an AC system to take out compressor hot gas pulsations.
Should be a doddle if you talk to the Hydraulics bloke/sheila as he/she has probably come across this problem before.

No, it is simply a spring inserted into the far end of the hose.
My D2 was for a while thought to have missed out on the spring but later the vibration was found to be caused by a blob of weld on the chassis directly behind the valve block which vibrated on the weld.
ACE = Active Cornering Enhancement. Active sway bars, in other words.
