			MAF error codes..

Not sure where to start with this one..
I have been having an intermittent MAF error code present itself to me on my 2009 TDV6 for a year or more now: P101-17... "circuit voltage above threshold". As such, replaced MAF a couple of weeks ago with OEM item and a few drives later the error has reoccured.
With the actual sensor now looking like the innocent party here, where to now? Is this a code that is highlighting a legitimate issue (i.e. actual ducting/aircleaner blockage etc.), or perhaps instead an electrical gremlin (an intermittent short to power in MAF harness)?
A peculiarity of this fault is that it only occurs after a cold start, and usually between 2-3km from my house, suggesting some possible 'collusion' with emissions control system during warm-up??
Any insight you guys might have with this is much appreciated!!
