Thread: newbie RR Sport owner 2009 TDV8

Am picking my new car up tomorrow as i want to get into 4wd'ing with other half but don't quite see myself in a navara/patrol/hilux/ranger etc etc
she's a 2009 TDV8 with 138km, i've pretty much had japanese imports all my life but there isn't really anything on offer to import from japan thats 4wd.
Being euro i organised for her to go to my mechanic to get fully checked over, needs about $1500 worth of work, so that was adjusted into the price,
one thing i found annoying is that 98% of them have pale interior which is all good if you're an office worker lol, so seat covers and rubber mats will be high on the list.
took awhile to find her, i wanted at the most 170/180km but commonly over 200km and still relatively cheap, and most tdv6, found this one about an hour out of perth,
ticked the box being tdv8 and under 140km and full service history and work receipts
i can't wait

The 3.6 has 2 turbos, one for each bank whereas the 4.4 has a primary and a secondary turbo, each shared by both banks.
