Thread: Stuck in Low gear

Hi all
IÂ’ve just changed the oil and filter in my 2012 3.0 V6
And done what I have always done. I went for a drive, warmed the car up, and then back at my shed I selected Rock crawl and crept up the wheel ramps.
No problem. Completed oil service and backed down the ramps
However, Gearbox warning came up, flashing green Low symbol and I canÂ’t move out of low gear. Have tried going forward and reverse on gravel( our drive way is gravel. HDC, stability control not available and emergency brake assist not available warning also coming up. IÂ’ve also noticed that when I put in Park the Park brake warning comes and automatically applies the brake.

Any clues on being able to move into hire gear mode please?

I cannot answer your question - but why select Rock Crawl - I also drive up ramps in, on road high range works and works fine, maybe sometime I will use low range but none of the TR settings are needed. Rock Crawl can lock the center diff so maybe it has stayed locked but it is variable so shouldn't have.
