    2011 L320 3Litre restricted mode

I have the above vehicle and have a restricted mode issue. The vehicle starts straight away anything above idle causes large amounts of smoke and the following fault codes. P00BD-07 temporary and P1247-oo intermittent. The interesting thing is the large flexible intercooler hose squashes almost totally when starting and idling indicating some type of restriction in the system. Hope someone has had a similar issue and recalls the solution.

It could have delaminated, worth having a look in it.

The hose seems okay it appears to be something 'downstream' being blocked or not opening properly.

My RRS doesnt get a lot of use these days but has been going along nicely when needed until my wife had to use it on a 40 C degree day a week or 2 ago. The Dreaded Restricted Performance triangle came up and she couldnt get more than 70 kph out of it.
She got to where she needed to go to drop off a car full of stuff for a friend and then drove home with no issues at all...
I went to put the car out the back (where it lives mostly) and boom, restrcited performance under light load but wouldnt rev.
I opened the window while I took it around the back (via a back road) and there was a definite whistle, like a Turbo whistle when you let off the throttle.
Today I had the chance to clear the codes with my GAP tool (didnt screen shot them doh) and then give her a quick run... nothing untoward.
Having a look under the bonnet my first thought was to look for tell tale oil leaks along the inlet manifolds... dry as a chip, a bit dusty but no oil leaks....there.
I did find a leak on what looks to be either a pressure line or a vacuum line connection at the inlet connection. I have now identified the line as a Turbo Boost pipe.
Pictures attached to show the spot.

The connection it plugs into is pretty hard and the O ring on the connection seems to be hard as well... not really sure why I am getting oil vapour from this connection if it is a Turbo Boost line.
Any ideas on what else to check? I can buy the line new from LRDirect so that part is easy enough.

Read the codes then email them to yourself.
The whistle could be from the secondary isolation valve sticking.

They havent come back so far... I will drive the car again soon and see if it goes into Restricted Performance again and then get the codes.
I guess I am a little concerned about the leakage at the Boot line in the picture. I have never seen even the slightest hint of any leakage there previously and I have been regularly servicing the car for the lat 60,000 km.
Any sort of boost pressure leak will affect performance so I will need to look at replacing that hose or at least the O-Ring sooner rather than later.
