Thread: Range Rover Sport 2012 - Open Door Error after replacing door latch

Hi All,

I had an issue with a LHS rear door latch not opening with key fob so I ordered an after market replacement one and fitted it. I tested it and it worked fine as soon as I fitted it then started and moved the car then ever since it displays door open on the dashboard display even though door is not open.

I removed everything and doubled checked it was installed correctly and had exactly the same result. Anyone have any tips or tricks for this kind or error?

I have used an aftermarket door latch for another door from the same supplier and had no issues.

I'm about to swap out my left rear door actuator it no longer unlocks except manually (or locks for that matter). Looks to be quite a PIA job any good tips?
