hmm, doesnt feel like its slipping. not that i know what slipping feels like.

i didnt want to suggest there was something wrong with car specifically, more looking for dyno graphs and found both.

i guess a TC is almost always slipping by design (unless specifically locked up in highway conditions) so maybe it just to what degree, though im not sure how a TC could wear out to reduce performance...

I thought a slipping TC would throw up an input vs output shaft speed mismatch fault, if not that may be the parameter to monitor.

well if thats in the gap tool, (ill have a look next week) it could be something to compare with

Don't know about your particular vehicle but it is often done on other brands.

i beleive they tune out EGR as when left on it to leads carbon fouling/build up in the intake.

Yes some do,some don't, depending on tuner and vehicle brand and type.

Some let them operate at some times and not other times,keeping them closed more often than the OEM settings.

On our D4 2.7,they were tuned out,and blanked,no DPF.
