Thread: Modifications (off road) to L322

Has anyone Down Under modified a 2007 onwards l322 - front sump guard, bash plates, winch etc? Snorkel? Are teh G4 Challenge vehicle parts available? Anyone know if they suit a TDV8? I hear from dealer that Supercharged and TDV8 wont accept snorkel and winch etc?

A snorkel is really difficult on the L322 - you can get them for the sport but the L322's have a different engine bay and air intake design that makes it difficult to feasibly install a snorkel. It would require a lot of custom work Id imagine. There's not really a lot of accessories avaliable but you should be able to get a front winch bar, spotlights, bash plates, certainly the ugly factory bull bars and roofrack/baskets. Im not sure why a winch bar could not be fitted to the supercharged or TDV8?

It would difficult to install radio equipment too as there is not much room on the dash. Never seen a rear wheel tyre carrier.
