I thought it was a modified D2 bar. That's what I was told at least.
This is the modified D3 one which Scouce refered to earlier this year. I am working with the owner on building a commercially available snorkel. (td6)
Unfortunately due to other committments, i cannot start the snorkel for atleast another month, however i have a bit of help this time from an expert, and with any luck, it will be finished this summer. (a little bit quicker than the P38 development!!) I will update this thread when i have progress.

Looks good!
'Scuse my ignorance, but will the diesel snorkel fit the petrol engine model?
Hi There,
I am really interested in a roo bar for my L322, preferably suitable for a winch. Is the bar that you pictured certified for use on the L322 ?
Who was it supplied by etc.
Thank You
I too would like a bar for my L322 but none are manufactured. Problem with getting them compliant. Jim

Andy - remember the Hard Range creed... P38's first, then L322's and everything else
Why? RRC's are already well catered for by aftermarket suppliers, so no need for us to offer our products here... yet. P38's are hugely capable off-road vehicles that are now becoming relatively cheap to own and enhance... and they are nowhere near as complicated as the naysayers would like you to think. Early L322's are becoming as cheap as good late model P38's but not as well serviced by aftermarket suppliers like us. We will address shortcoming as time and R&D funds permit.
The L322 snorkel (aka Raised Air Intake) will be pretty easy now that we have a donor vehicle... but not until the P38 snorkel is sorted properly. What complicates the L322 snorkel will be the range of engines/air boxes that LR has gone through so far... BMW, Ford, Jaguar.
We currently supply the only SRS certified Roo Bar (with winch provision) for the P38... in the world (with Clarkson accent for effect). I have every confidence that we will be able to get a certified L322 Roo Bar next. Watch this space or Hard Range for updates.
If you seriously want a Roo Bar and/or snorkel for your L322, send an "e-mail of intent" to us at info@hardrange.com and we will seriously consider the priority list given enough committment to make it financially viable. Unlike ARB and TJM, we prefer to work in the niche market and don't sneer at requests for the "Best 4x4 by Far".
Cheers
Paul.

Hi Paul, I know I'm dredging up an old thread here, but I was just wondering if you were any further down the track thinking about a bar for the L322? I took mine bush for the first time on the weekend, and now I'm sure it won't be the last...and a bar of some description would be an advantage.
Obviously the time and money to develop one is high, but I thought I'd ask, and see if anyone else was genuinly interested? If there was enough interest from forum members would that help put the development of a bar back on your list?
Cheers - Gav
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
No worries at all Gav, I'm glad that you have. I know Andy is keen to get one going and his L322 is the donor vehicle. Time (and of course spare funds) is still our enemy. We will post updates here as we make progress.
We have the RAI/snorkel sorted for the P38, and I believe Andy is still experimenting with moulds for the L322 RAI/snorkel... and then I want the rock sliders for my P38... whether we sell them or not
If another manufacturer beats us to market, it's our loss, and I wish them every success. The L322 deserves a decent bull bar.
Cheers, Paul.

Hello Paul, just wondering if there is any news on this front as I park mine in the street, and I'm getting fed up with touch-parkers!!
What is involved in modding a D3 bar to fit - is it a big job, or just a few tweaks?
Cheers,
Fraser
I too am interested in a steel bar for my 04 rangie. Too many Roos where I drive, makes me nervous! Will watch this space.
