    L322 TRANSFER BOX

Thanks all. I found out yesterday that it is all done electrically. I too am after info re auto box hunting around below 80k/h. Won't pull in 5th below that and drops back all the time to 3rd or 4th, revs up quickly and drops into 5th, drops back again and so forth. It is a pain trying to drive at 60k/h in 5th. Jim

Mine does that too after being on the highway which for me is 2mins down the road.It would be good if it held fourth around town. Pat

I know this is an old thread, but I've just been trolling through all the older threads for anything interesting, and I came across this - If you haven't already figured it out, putting the car in sports mode around town makes for a much better drive - it won't drop into 5th doing this, so the hunting issue is resolved.

    Cheers - Gav
