i think i took the wrong tyres:)
Andrew
It will be very interesting to see photos with that gear fitted.
Do you think OEM 17's from a D3 would fit?
Does anyone know what 18"tyres will fit an L322 Rangie ie would 275 x 65 x 18 Maxxis Bighorns fit.
What year did they change to 19"rims.
Does anyone know if the GOE (Green Oval Experience) 18" rims for a D4 will fit.
I would love to buy one of the early TDV8 Rangies one day.
Regards
Chuck
I was going to go for walker evans rims with external beadlocks, but i might do that at a later date whefunds allow.
Tyre sizes that fit, well the bling patrol fit 24 inch rims with 285s and 32" OD tyres with only minor trimming to the rear drivers inner guard (where the fuel pipe goes past). I think the most important thing is the offset of the rims.
Dunno about d3 rims. I phoned TRS in SA and asked them if they could try a 17 on a L322, but they were too busy to help.
I started fitting the bar today, will post pics later. Its slightly easier than i first thought.
Andy.
Was about to do a deal on a 4.2td Amazon (Landcruiser 100 series VX to you lot) but this thread has given me other ideas - similar age RR are actually a bit cheaper to buy. How much work do you need to do to get the D3 bullbar to fit?
Any ideas for a snorkel?
The bullbar only needs the mounts modifying, the rear corners trimmed, and a small finisher pannel installed below the grille. The modification to the crush tubes is not as much as i first thought. You need to make up some fishplates to mount on the chassis to replace the D3 ones, cut the front brackets off and move them up.
The distance between the mounts is the same, as is the overall distance from the car to the bullbar.

Old thread I know however i wanted to know how you went with the 3 inch exhaust?
Unfortunately Hard Range is no more, and the L322 in question was sold off. Not sure how often Andy gets on here these days - you may be waiting awhile for an answer - unless the new owner of the vehicle is hanging around here?
EDIT - Andrews last activity here was only a week or so ago, so hopefully he might chime in. :)
The L322 is still here...the 3" exhaust didn't happen. Andy's work commitments means he does quite a bit of travelling.
