    Fuel consumption computer

Having recently bought an L322 diesel Rangie I have done some consumption testing. So far I have reset the first program each tank. The second program I am leaving. Around town (Sydney west) I got around 11 l/100k. On second tank full and country running this dropped to 9.2 l/100k. My question is this. Does these readouts show average for tank since refill (no 1 readout) or do they show a snapshot of the moment? Jim

In the L322 they show an average consumption for the distance travelled since they were last reset.

In our VW the #1 meter shows an average since the car was started and continues if the engine is stopped for less than 2 hours. So it really is a “trip” meter. #2 is an average for the last 10000km. Both are reset-able at any time. I prefer the VW logic.
