    02 - 0 MY L322 - good buying or too risky ?

Looking for a new car (but new 2nd hand might be Ok if the car is right).

Budget up to (less preferably) $50K

I note that the 02 - 04 MY rangies are in this bracket

    Would want a TD6

Are they good buying at this price?

Any chance of getting some sort of after market warranty for one? (Twould be a leased vehicle - IF they'll do a car that age for us).

Love Rngisbut do;t want to take one on if we are asking for a world of pain.
That is - don't want to be dipping into our own pocket for repairs etc.

Hi Vlad, bought my 2003 TD6 se last march from alto in sydney. In hindsight I would buy locally if I could as the standard 3 month warranty is usually a back to seller to fix kind off thing.
sorry cant help with any more warranty info.
I must say though that the more time you spend in one the more you love it. it just does every thing so well. I do the services and odd jobs myself and get all the bits from the uk. I buy the filters a few at a time to help with the shipping.
I reckon they are a great car to work on once you have the manual, very simple and strong when you have a look around one.
ffrr.co.uk is a great resource and a great bunch same as rangerovers.net
I did a lot of research before buying mine and from experiance if you can get the lowest KLM one you can afford thats been well looked after, change the auto fluid and transfer oil you wont go wrong, and great on fuel too!!
To sum up if you are an enthusiastic owner that doesnt mind a bit of fettling then they are very reasonable to run.
If you wanted to have a look or go in mine just let me know,no worries.

    cheers
