    Unhappy Leaving forum

All, it has been a pleasure, I have however traded my L322 for a new landcruiser tdv8. Reason being that all the dirt roads and dust started to take it's toll on the old girl and soon i could see a new transmission and electrical faults started to pop up. Soon you will find my OEM floormats, new fuel filter and a rear disc brake set on ebay.

Very simple, good a very good deal on the new cruiser. TDV8 engine is very good. I nearly cried leaving my RR behind though, loved that car.

You will be back - my brother bought a new cruiser TDV8 just before Christmas - exhaust has already rubbed through a brake line causing the loss of fluid and imminent brake failure on that circuit and he is not happy with the fuel consumption - not sure what he gets but he is not happy.

Of course there are the oil consumption stories - my brother has not had an issue but I still kid him a bit and ask if he fills up the oil when he tops up with fuel.

    Good luck with it anyway.

A friend of my brother has a new land cruiser. Seems that the fan has a tendency to loose a blade. As it did to his. Would not have been a major hassle had it not also cut through the vacuum pump oil return line ( diesel motor ) . They had not seen the cut when the stopped to check what had happened. Kept driving till the motor seized. Was not looking at the oil gauge as he was keeping a eye on the temperature gauge as the had to remove the fan due to it being unbalanced. But that is only one bad story. All vehicles have there good ones and there lemons.
