Thread: L322 Towing Options

Hi All,

Sold my 89 Classic (to my boss) with much pulling at the heartstrings, but bought an '02 (MY03) L322. Which I love.

The problem I have is this: The vehicle came with a tow pack and hitch and I'm sure it's all fine for towing a regular trailer. The issue I have is that I own an old Army No5 trailer.

The trailer is great and I don't want to dispose of it. I had no problems towing it with my old vehicle, as the NATO tow hitch mounted nice and high in the ARB rear step. But now with the low slung tow hook on the L322, I can't mount the tow hook directly down there.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can get a suitable hitch/mount please?

Hi Tom, and while not quite the same thing, I needed a new tow hitch for my 07 RR, to allow me to mount a push bike carry rack on the tow ball.

I just went to a tow bar mob and got one made to suit.

You need a longer tongue but they are a standard available item.
