    immobilizer fault - help

hi all, just picked up my new V8 2003 L322 Vogue , a few issues with it for roadworthy certificate in Vic, but not insurmountable. However , how much to fix is the real question? The main issue I am having is the car wont start when i have turned it off. does not matter if i have locked it or not. only way ( as done by the RACV guy at Mobil servo on the Hume yesterday ) was to disconnect the battery and let it reset and then start. I have to do this each time to start now. So any ideas about how to rectify this without haveing to visit L dealer with computer to reset ? thanks in advance.

    fob battery chnage

thanks Pat , ill do that. interestingly enough in th least few hours , the issue has gone away , after a drive too town. I am now seeing a a message in the digital readout , " air suspension inactive" with the light in the dash also on. Hmmm seems like some gremlins in the electrics here. hopping that the computer fault checker at the dealers on friday can sort this out for me. thanks again, Ill change the battery anyway.
