Hope I didn't offend, it was all in good humor (mine was the diplomatic answer remember). Might I add the (as Im always saying to my employees) only stupid question is the question you don,t ask and then break something.

What Gavin and Garry said. I used to teach (corporate stuff) years ago and often placed this on display during the sessions. It may be apocryphal but ....

"Ancient proverb says that it is better to appear a fool and ask a question than to remain silent and so remain a fool".

Of course when offering advice ....

"It is better to remain silent and appear a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt"

They both sort of cancel one another out!

We've all asked/done something in our lives that was, in hindsight, truly daft. Well I have anyway. More times than I will admit too On my daft-o-meter your question barely registers by comparison to some of mine, and no, I will not elaborate.

No offense was intended in my earlier response. I am hoping a little fun was had without expense to your dignity.
