Thread: L322 Heater controls?

My 03 model L322 has a horizontal control wheel mounted just below the central air duct outlets on the dash. It has a series of blue and red dots on it. What does this control do as I cannot find it in the handbook. Jim

Hi Jim,

This thumb wheel controls the temperature that comes out of the face level vents (where it is). This is above or below whatever the temp is set on the main HVAC panel. I think this only works if you have the HVAC set on Auto or Face/Feet. If it's just Feet or Defrost it doesn't have any effect as the air isn't being sent to these vents then.

So, simply, blue dots, colder than set temp, red dots, warmer than set temp.

The more dots the greater the change, colder or warmer .

Have a look in the owners manual. I think its around page 80-81. It's either the first or second page under Heating and Ventilation anyway.
