    Interior Finish Blistering

Has anyone got a repair solution for the chipping and blistering of the silver internal finish?

Not short of sanding it back and repainting. Most of the silver parts (Foundry I think the finish is) are available in other finishes from England - Piano Black, Cherry and Walnut - so if you dont want to refinish yours, you could always go for a different look if you end up replacing them. The other thing I have seen done (Again - in England) is to have the parts vinyl wrapped. On FFRR someone has done all there bits in Carbon fibre wrap, which may not be to everyones taste, but they looked pretty good.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

I have seen a few reapinted ones, one looked GREAT and the rest looked very bad and peeled, all comes down to preparation I guess.

mine are all very good except for one, and I will probably look at having them covered in a leather look vynl.
