Thread: New members intro

Suggestion that I introduce myself to the forum
Purchased the L322 TD6 in Jan 04. Now has 113,000 K's.
This car has been to Cape Levique, Oodnatta Track, Tanami, Birdsville track etc.
We have built drawers in the car, have 2 spares, a load rack made of steel behind front seats (approved design complete with magazine holder) as we remove back seats and fit a flat floor with a 55 litre water bladder in rear foot well.
Air tank on rack is pumped each morning allowing us to blow dust of the rear before opening tailgate, air outlet on each corner of pack rack so I only have to move the hose and not the compressor which is fixed to the fridge slide.
Best ride anyone ever had through the outback! (Well equal best I guess for those that use their car)
I really like what I see on this forum and look forward to communicating with members.

As Summiitt said - good to see one of these being used for its intended purpose.

Lots of great info on here, and I know I wouldn't own one of these if I hadn't become a member on here - who can I blame that one on...?? Only joking, best car I have ever owned!
