I am sure that the D3 bar won’t fit on a 05-06 face lift model, the front bumper and light mountings are different.

As to Q about L322 resale, the face lift models seem to be worth significantly more than 02-early05, the 06 TD6 is nearly the same as pre facelift models (only significant change was front suspension and steering setup – Petrol variant was completely different); IMO at (sometimes) double the price, they are severely overpriced and I would think they will drop closer to the earlier models but only because the 3.6TDV8 are dropping. Some face lift TD6 vehicles are asking close to TDV8 prices, not sure if they are getting it…. End of the day they still have the 5 speed GM trans, older dash, BMW electronics, no TR ect ect as the old ones.

It’s natural that the superseded model will drop when a new one arrives but it really depends on the price of the new model, how much of an upgrade it is, how much new superseded stock is discounted ect ect. But if you’re asking about facelift TD6 cars, I’m not sure the L405 release will affect them greatly – they are already the ‘old’ model - IMO they are not really the same class as the TDV8 and a very different drive - given their age and the fact that really they are completely different to the current (and new) 4.4 TDV8 models, they will be more affected by 3.6TDV8s coming out of lease which is happening now.

Even if you could get a D3 bar to fit I doubt it would be legal as these bars need to be certified to the vehicle. If it could be certified (engineered) it would be an expensive exercise.

I think it'll be the MY10-12 cars that see the biggest drop, considering there is a $30-50k difference between an MY09 and a MY10 with pretty much identical specs apart from the facelift and slight interior changes currently.

I would expect the earlier cars to drop a bit too, but there does seem to be a premium on the MY10-12 just for being the current model at present that will no longer apply.

It will be interesting to see what the prices of the early ones is like in a couple of years - hopefully there will be some dirt cheap ones around that would make a good starting point for a bush pig...

I'd love to see what one looks like and goes like with the guards cut to fit some 33's, flares, bullbar and a spacers to give it a couple of inches lift...

Although it's not nice to watch the value of your pride and joy drop, I don't think any of us bought our RR's thinking they would hold their value...

I should have mentioned that the price would be around the $46-$48 k area, with 90k on the clock. Yes I have seen the ad's for similar Td6 Vogues for $68k to$71k . I couldn't believe what I saw espically after reading Redbook values, 1 vehicle has sold, I don't know the price though.
To be honest I prefer the older style dash and seats with woodgrain surrounds, it seems more spacious/wider than later models.The entertainment centre does look dated though.

I have seen a couple of L322s getting around with D3 bull bars - they look very nice indeed - just need a couple of mods to fit them up.

A quick look around at 02-05/06 l322 prices in the last week has brought up some surprises !

Ritters ? have a Blue 06 Td6 Vogue (87kms) for $64,990 !!!

A Sydney firm had a Grey 05 Td6 Vogue (162kms) for $47,000 dropped it to $42,000 a week ago, BUT the day after the Ritter model was listed it is now $52,990

The Black 06 Td6 Vogue (67kms) Supercharged look alike in Vic is still $71,000
A high mileage (255 kms) 02 HSE sole for $22,000 at the dealers. I though this would be a good project proposition, but it sold before I could see it. I The salesman also stated it had full log books, But the gearbox was still original.

V8's Vogue & HSE prices are coming down slowly, again a big spead in prices.

I'm was tempted to buy 07 TDV8 luxury (190K) at around $50+ but the boss said no at this stage. If I could only get her to give it a try

That is one sweeeet ride Laurie. You need to figure what you need to do to get the better half's permission...
