L322 Alarm going off1 minute after locking

    This is getting annoying.
My alarm goes off most of the time I lock the car after 30 seconds to 3 minutes.
    Flashing indicators and horn sounding.

Anyone know what the likely cause is?

Also Id like to be able to turn off the internal motion sensor, but if I press the remote lock button after locking the door, nothing seems to happen. Any help please.

Check/clean bonnet alarm switch, also if you hit the key button "twice within 10 sec" of locking it should disable it.

Hi CBH25, as Laurie posted, check your bonnet switch, I had trouble with mine triggering intermittently and found the bonnet switch was slightly out of alignment.

What you can try to see if it is the switch. Get a thin piece of styrofoam and place it over the bonnet switch, close the bonnet and and lock up and see if you still have a problem.

I permanently fixed mine by sticking a small self adhesive rubber pad on the underside of the bonnet, where the switch contacts the bonnet.
